Mattel's Action Figures

The first figures appeard in 1978 and were the exact height of the Star Wars figures, 3 3/4". The figures were produced by Mattel, and continued on for two series. The 2nd series figures are tougher to locate, because less were produced. Each figure came on a blister card, though there were a special 4-pack and a 6-pack. Each card did provide art on the side of the character on the card.
