The Defenders were all based upon original Takatoku designs. All but the Train were from the series Oven Gazzette. The train is really called "Batrain". They all have larger versions that transform better and are made of metal and plastic. Select bought these smaller molds and rights, while Bandai got the others. Bandai in conjunction with Hasbro brought out Whirl & Roadbuster for Transformers which are exactly the same as these, just bigger and better. "Defender robots created by Earth's Central Computer as the main defense agaist Invaders from other galaxies. Designed to convert to other forms until alerted to impending danger whereapon they convert back to the Defenders."

	Cpt. Nemo			One of the newest Defenders, very tough. Able to travel great distances. Patrols the oceans in the search of Invaders.
	Chopper			Very clever and elusive. Converts into a helicopter. Flys low over the earth, protected by stealth system making him invisible to Radar or other sensory equipment.

	First Track			Fast and clever. Converts into a train designed to protect Earth's rail transport network which are important to supply defense systems.
	Neptune			One of the newest Defenders, very tough. Able to travel great distances. Patrols the oceans in the search of Invaders.
	Tanker			Tough and very strong. Converts into a tank that was once working with the military, training men in defense until altered by a onboard computer system warning of impending danger.
	Tanker (Army)			Tough and very strong. Converts into a tank that was once working with the military, training men in defense until altered by a onboard computer system warning of impending danger.
	Wheels			Rugged and swift, converts into a jeep that is able to cruise over rough terrain while seeking invaders that may have landed in areas undetected by central computer or other Defenders.
