Dino Riders were still moving on with a strong following in 1990. Tyco split the new assortment (and so did I) into Ice Age and the Regular assortment. For third series, there are 4 new mammals in Ice Age and 3 new dinosaurs in the regular series! The Ice Age and Regular assortments were shipped differently.....and at different times it seems. The three regular dinosaurs can be considered the toughest of all the Dino Riders toys. They are unheard of, and I have only found one collectible book that even priced them (because he was looking at catalogs, not actually produced pieces.)
