Tyco offered a fan club membership at the beginning of the Dino Riders toy line. When you mailed your $3.50 and 3 Dino Riders points with your order form, and waited the agonizing 6-8 weeks, you would receive all you see above in the brown package.

    One of the first highlights to any kid would be the exlcusive toy. This Pterodactyl is a re-paint from the original which came with the Llahd set from 1st series. The Pterosaur is repainted in extravagant colors and is a real find for collectors.

    Next was your membership card, which one side was your I.D., and on the other side was the artwork which was shown on the back of the boxes for 2nd series Dino Riders.

    The last interesting point about the Fan Club exclusive is that it is completely different than what was stated in the order form. I still have not seen the 16 Dino Riders Collectors cards. So I think they were unable to print them off and a toy was produced to fill the mail away pack. I find the toy much better than the cards.
