Playmates never produced a Splinter for their 12" Giant Size Turtle collection. Some Knock-Off company then chose to produce a 12" inch version of the regular size figure. I find this toy to be extremely awesome and looks to be of good quality. This piece actually looks as though Playmates did produce it. It has a nice cloak and belt, and rubber tpye arms, body and head. Th legs are hollow light plastic giving it better support. They even followed though with a superb package.
