This Knock-Off Snarl is based of the Diaclone Snarl which had a black body. We can tell because the box is extremely close to the real thing. This piece could be found in North America and probably around the same time as the Dinobots appeared on the shelves (1985+). The toy seems to be well made but of course no markings. Has all the weapons like the Transformers and Diaclone issue did, and even has his black rump (back end). A very nice piece and displays extremely well.
