As you can see this Zoid was released in Japan, but it also came out here. it was one of the first zoids available in the US. The first few came in this dark blue and grey colors. Zoids were a popular mid-80's toys. Each zoid had to be assembled. The pieces came on trees. In some cases you even had to build the little wind-up motor. Each Zoid moved in some way or another. In addition, each Zoid at least had one other thing that moved. In the case of this Elephant the ears moved while it walked.
