| The following 3
3/4 inch action figures were initially released in 1985 by Matchbox, but
then reissued in 1992 by Harmony Gold (Lunk and Corg were only released
by Matchbox and Lynn Minmei was only released by Harmony Gold). There are many different variations of the Matchbox figures. Some of them were made in "Japan or Hong Kong" and some were made in "China". The Chinese released figures were cast from different molds than the Japanese figures and many times there are also big differences in the paint styles applied to the figures. Also, Many of the Japanese made figures have inconsistencies in the paint jobs amongst themselves. All Harmony Gold figures were made in China and mainly used the same molds as the Matchbox China figures. The information, concerning these variations, mainly comes from my observations of the figures in my personal collection. In no way, are these meant to represent all of the Robotech action figure variations. There are some known variations that are not represented here. The profiles included with the figures are from the backs of their cards. |
