Spartan
The Spartan to the left was made by Matchbox in 1985. The main difference between this version and the Playmates one below is that the antenna on the head are longer here. This (in my opinion) is much better. I also like the stickers on the Matchbox version better.

The Playmates version of the Spartan was released in 1994.
This toy has 12 points of articulation. The missile pods can open to reveal 26 missiles. These missiles were molded to the body of the toy.
This vehicle is one of five nontransforming mecha used to defend the SDF-1.
This toy came packaged on a blister card with a sticker sheet.
